What are the terms of your warranty?
AlexMotowears provides a limited manufacturer’s warranty on its products from the original date of purchase. Our jackets and pants are covered for up to 5 years, while gloves and rain gear are covered for 1 year, against verified manufacturing and material defects. A valid proof of purchase is required, and this warranty is non-transferable.

Rips, cuts, tears, burns, or abrasions

How should I care for my AlexMotowears textile gear?
Caring for Your AlexMotowears Textile Gear
Hand washing is always recommended for maintaining the performance and longevity of your AlexMotowears apparel.
Remove all protective armor before washing. Use a mild liquid detergent and ensure all detergent is completely rinsed out for optimal performance. Liquid detergents are preferred as they contain fewer surfactants.
Air dry your garment at room temperature. Do not tumble dry, as heat can damage seam seals and reflective details.
For heavily soiled areas, pre-treat stains with a suitable pre-wash spray (e.g., Shout works well) and follow the product instructions.
Avoid detergents containing bleach, solvents, or harsh chemicals, and do not scrub waterproof or breathable membranes. Wash separate layers (thermal, rain, puffer) individually if your garment has multiple layers.
Do not iron your gear. Never use fabric softeners, as they will damage the membrane and reduce performance.
We recommend applying a protective spray, such as 3M Scotchgard, monthly to maintain water repellency. Avoid spraying over rubberized design elements, as this may cause damage.
Store your gear in a dry place when not in use. Using a cotton garment bag can provide extra protection during long-term storage.
What is the proper care for leather motorcycle apparel?
Make it water-resistant: Use a silicone or acrylic co-polymer spray to help protect leather from water. Avoid grease- or wax-based products on jackets, as they may affect color, shine, and longevity. Reapply every few weeks or months. Leather jackets are never fully waterproof—do not immerse in water or machine wash.
Condition occasionally: Apply a leather conditioner when the leather feels dry or stiff to prevent cracking. Use sparingly and choose a product suitable for your leather type. Avoid mineral oil, petroleum, or saddle soap. Natural oils like mink oil are best, but may darken the leather.
Polish smooth leather carefully: Use leather polish rarely for shine, testing first on a hidden area. Buff with a cloth. Do not polish suede or soft-textured leather, and never use shoe polish.
Remove salt and dirt: Wipe off salt or dirt promptly with a damp cloth, let air dry, and apply conditioner if needed.
Dry wet leather naturally: Hang your jacket at room temperature, avoid direct heat, and remove items from pockets. Condition leather after it dries if soaked.
Important: Improper care of your AlexMotowears leather gear may void your warranty.
